Hot Fix for VS2005

Microsoft released a HotFix for VB compiler error &H8013141e& . Visit http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=233261&SiteID=1&PageID=4  for more information. The knowledgebase on this,KB 91503, is not yet ready, but it will be in the next couple of days.

In the mean time if you think this is the issue call Microsoft Product Support Services at 800-936-4900 and ask about getting the patch for KB# 915038.

Like Microsoft, I don't want to post the link to the fix here because you need to understand exactly what this is fixing and if this isn't your problem, then you don't need to run this.

One other thing to note is that indiscriminate use of "edit and continue" can result in some locking issues with the compiler.  So, I wouldn't recommend doing any complex edit and continue operations. Stick with it for simple things like changing the value of a variable.

Re: Hot Fix for VS2005
For the record, you no longer have to call PSS to get this hotfix.
