Due to new a new state mandate, SC universities and state agency websites have to be Title 2, section 508 compliant. This is more immediate for internet apps; but intranet apps such as .NET have to be compliant by July, 2008.
I work at Clemson so I've used the "Watchfire Bobby" tool to check the compliance of a .NET application and it seemed to work OK but it doesn't list the exact pages it checked so I wasn't sure it was navigating to pages when actions such as clicking buttons or selecting datagrid entries were involved.
Is Watchfire Bobby the only or best tool to verify 508 compliance or are there other tools available for .NET? I've found this MicroSoft site http://www.microsoft.com/enable/ but it doesn't list any .NET tools that I can see.
Any information you can provide would be greatly apppreciated. Thanks.
I wanted to follow-up on this in case this information was helpful to any of you.
Clemson has purchased HiSoftware (http://www.hisoftware.com/) to test for web accessibility and it does work with software tools such as .NET.
