Tablet PC/Ink Development

I see more and more Tablet PCs at the meetings.

A discussion on how to enable applications for digital ink on Tablets might be of interest. Even if you don't plan on writing a Tablet specific app it could be an advantage to have an existing app at least ink enabled for things like signatures or diagram notes.

This discussion could include items such as how to best store and index/retrieve the captured ink. When and how to enable an ASP.NET application.

I agree totally. I've wanted to understand more about TabletPC (and get a TabletPC) for some time now.

I've got a tablet pc yet have not done any development specifically for a tablet. I think this would be a great presentation.

Martin Shoemaker of TabletUML has offered to do a presentation for us and he has several topics covering tablet PCs. Visit http://www.tabletuml.com/TechnicalPresentations.aspx and let me know which presentation you would like to see. There are so many great sounding ones I don't know where to begin. If we can come up with a list of about 5 I will set up a survery.

Yeah, this should be a good one. It'll give me an excuse to buy a tablet also...

Maybe also cover how to code an app for both ink for a tablet and non ink for standard pc's if there is something you can do to switch between them etc.
